Adam Moses is a performer, author, educator, band owner, videographer and holds a 2nd degree black belt in Taekwondo/Hoshinsoul. His intermediate drum instructional book, Groove Studies, was published by Hal Leonard corporation in 2016.
At the ripe old age of three, Adam began playing his father’s drum set and was enrolled in Kindermusic. Classical piano lessons followed at age seven and guitar lessons at thirteen. Growing up in a southern gospel church, Adam began playing drums with the youth choir at age twelve and in garage bands as a teenager.
In 2009, after playing in many bands spanning genres from bluegrass & country to fusion & funk, Adam created a wedding/corporate band Empty Pocket, that continues to gain popularity in the south east.
He has over 15 years experience teaching private drum lessons and working with music camps. Adam has a large and ever growing student base. He currently teaches private drum lessons at his studio in Manhattan and also provides on-line lessons.
